wtf is with the blob of text?
It is NOT called “freestyle, which is the competitive event swimmers do the “crawlstroke (its proper name) because it is the fastest stroke. In the freestyle event one can swim any stroke you want even the backstroke.–Pete WSI former high school swim & diving coach.
i agree he’s trying to show off his tatoos but wht he’s trying to teach is right too……….
i like your tattoos bro
@bigd5559 It’s not his fault. He’s with expert village, and as we all know expert village = epic fail.
tks,hot guy
Weird tattoos.
Instead of telling beginners to pull like “S” with dropped elbow, it should be emphasized that an effective pull should be 1. Extend arm all the way after entry 2. Start pulling with bending elbow and keeping it high and not dropping it. Imagine if pulling over a barrel underneath in front of you 3. Keep palm of hand perpendicular to surface of water during straight pull. Remember you body roll automatically creates an “S” shaped pull. Be careful not get shoulder injuries.
When we pull all the way back we make sure our hands touch our what ? :O I thought I have heard the b word , reporting as inapropriate due to strong language ROFL JK of course , thank You for the videos , they are very informative

I feel sorry for this guy. All this bad advice in one single day. EVF, Early Vertical Forearm, that’s how you make speed in freestyle swimming. Thorpe showed us allready everything about it 10 years ago.
how do you go faster. Is it possible for a beginner to be at a beginners level for a long time. I’ve been swimming for five years, but I can’t seem to get the techs down. I need to have good advice to improve for swim class at school. I’m always the last one to the wall. How do I get faster. I don’t float, I kick, yet my breathing starts to get really heavy. HELP!
yup~ u are right~ i leared it long long time ago~
Whoa he’s stunning.. I love American guys
@Tomhain
I agree
Sally he can show off his body anytime !
The “S” technique only works for beginners. If you want to actually move while you’re swimming, just focus on keeping your arm @ a 45 degree angle and pulling all the way through your stroke.
NO NO NO! this “S” thing stands for Screwing Swimmers up! Who is he anyway? Take this video down or put it on “want to show off your tatoos?” videos instead.
It is ironic that this obsolete, but at the same time, published in 2008 — about a year ago.
Also, in my opinion, this guy is just showing off his body, and not exactly teaching anything useful.
Can someone tell me whether or not to use the S stroke??
cause i was a competitive swimmer 10 years ago and I was taught the S stroke, so i dont know if pulling straight back instead is the updated version.
Sorry, all this is wrong. Ask any Australian or UK swim coach and they’ll tell you he’s wrong. he’s pulling with a straight arm, no no no. 45 degrees arm l causes splash and water resistance, ,no high elbow or catch either like reaching over a barrel then the whole arm and forearm especially catches the water and causes propulsion. The final phase, the push past the hip is not even mentioned. nice try but so wrong
thank you! lol
hydrodynamic, lol
easy now, whys he a piece of shit lol, for informing us !?
If its about what is the correct technique then we’re all ears!
